Potential agrifood application of seriguela (Spondias purpurea L.) residues extract and nanoZnO as antimicrobial, antipathogenic and antivirulence agents

The impact of phytopathogenic microorganisms in several crops causes significant losses agrifood industry, spoilage throughout food chain and storage. Nanoparticles plant extracts have been highlighted by their antimicrobial properties applied packaging, agriculture, drug delivery systems other medical approaches. Over the past few years, this group studied application ZnO nanoparticles agroindustrial wastes edible coatings/films. This study aimed to evaluate active characteristics from extract seriguela processing nanoZnO regarding inhibitory activity against bacterial pathogenicity virulence TTSS (Type Three Secretion System) QS (Quorum Sensing) for Pseudomonas savastanoi. Also, antibacterial action (inhibition area) species Curtobacterium, Clavibacter, E. coli, Xanthomonas Serratia, antifungal Botrytis cinerea (reduction colony size). 60% inhibited activation system 20.26% 13.54%, respectively; while at 3% reduced 46.77% increased 302.88% TTSS. Extract without dilution growth Clavibacter michiganensis pv (Gram-positive) phaseoli (Gram-negative), zone 94.25 mm2 452.39 respectively. latter also being 1 2% (138.23 mm2) (275.67 mm2). Pure 17.38% fungal (1 3%) 33.08%. Finally, agents showed be promising prevention diseases consequently economic losses, films/coatings as a biopesticide, reducing environmental impact.
